City Traffic Police of Lahore recently cracked down and fined 3002 vehicles including motor bikes for faulty number plates. Among the violations were a crack down on 1047 tinted car windows, 1741 cars including motorcycles were cited for not have a visible or legal cheap number plate, 210 vehicles were cited for having illegal blue plates, whereas only 4 were cited for improper use of blue lights. This recent crackdown on motorists the Chief had stated is to make citizens more aware therefore improving the safety of the towns citizens.
