They have a motor that is mid-mount, power monitored to the rear wheels. They have the long front hood and short body overhangs of the old cars and other classic design parts with a custom plate. They just might become classics of their own.

Bob and the bobbies lend polish to Bristol Classic Car Show

A vintage Morris 1000 used by the Devon and Cornwall Police until 1974 was one of the stars of the Bristol Classic Car Show. Owners Bob and Brenda Long are members of Three Counties Vintage and Classic Club, one of 65 clubs that participated in the event, which featured hundreds of classic automobiles paired with custom number plates, as well as an auto jumble and auction.

Plate change proposed

In 2000, Magi Bish dropped her daughter off for work. It was the last time she saw her. That day, she recalled a plain white sedan and a feeling of unease, but she couldn’t remember the car’s details later. In the time since, however, she has worked with lawmakers to suggest custom license plates being branded with symbols as well as letters or numbers.
Another supporter of the idea, businessman Gary Richards, commented that most adults do not even remember their license number, but symbols such as diamonds or stars “give a graphic that even a young child” can recognize.

Johnson saves car after sliding out in Turns 1 and 2, qualifies 15th for …

Jimmie Johnson’s race car paired with vanity plate has handling problems at Kansas City racetrack. In qualifying rounds Johnson nearly collided with the wall at turns 1 and 2. He was able to gain back some momentum in the straight aways. It has been a pattern in the last few race weeks for Johnson during qualifying. Despite his problems this week he still qualified in the top 15. Despite having a disappointing season so far in comparison to previous years, Johnson claimed he has a great race car, and expects to do well at Kansas City.

Shopping trip for murder mission

Video from a shopping excursion for car plates helps land UK two hit men in jail after they fail to properly identify themselves. The men were purchasing the customised number plates for their getaway car and were hired to murder Mr.Qadir Hussain by Mr. Imran Khan over a land dispute in Pakistan. Hussain survived the attempt and the hit men and Khan were convicted.

Historics brings rare restoration project to auction May 26

The car is a Derby Bentley, which was owned by by the original “Bentley Boy” and the former chairman of Bentley Motors. State to probe tender for hi-security number plates

The transport minister of India, Botsa Satyanarayana, has demanded an inquiry into Shimnit Utsch Private Limited’s bid for the high-security number plates projects in the states. Mr. Satyanarayana’s reasoning is that he had learned of the company using means of fraud to obtain contracts for those cheap number plates in the past.
