Number plate of PM’s vehicle during SC appearance was fake

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani arrived at a Supreme Court hearing in a vehicle bearing an registration cheap number plate that was not matched the vehicle. The number is actually registered to a Honda Civic, owned by a private citizen. This has caused many citizens to be concerned about the trustworthiness of their Prime Minister.

Ind. unveils its 1st license plate for gay youth

An Indiana Youth Group license plate has a logo with hands reaching in rainbow colors. The cheap number plate has been available since December 28, and is the first to benefit gay causes in Indiana, making Indiana the second state to have a specialty plate benefiting gay causes. $25 dollars of each $40 plate goes to the youth group. The youth group serves 1400 youths from approximately age 12-21 that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.

Tamper Proof Number Plate Screws

It has been widely reported the increase in stolen number plates in recent years. Recent figures suggest over 40,000 sets of number plates are taken each year. Motorists can take steps to reduce their exposure to such a crime by securing the plates with specialist  fittings.

For just a few pounds motorists can use security number plate fixings to secure their number plates. Specially designed screws are screwed in as normal but cannot be unscrewed due to the design of the screw head. There are several different styles of security number plate fixings on the market and you can secure both number plates for just a few pounds.

With rising fuel costs unfortunately number plate theft is likely to be here to stay. That coupled with the fact motorists who have their car number plates stolen usually end up with parking and speeding fines etc. A little bit of forethought  preventing the theft of the number plates now could save inconvenience and expense in the future.
