A procession of classic cars was turned around after the Swale Vehicle Enthusiasts’ Club 23rd annual event was canceled due to a heavy downpour. More than 300 cars were supposed to be in attendance many of which were on the road to the event. The show was planned to be held in a football field across from Sheppey’s Sport Club that Sunday. Stallholders lost out on their put in and the field was completely waterlogged from the rain.
